I used to live in L.A., but it's my first time back in over ten years. The first place I ate upon returning was Ye Olde King's Head. It lived up to my recollection, and I had a wonderful meal while enjoying the outdoor seating. I had several favorites from years ago, but I tried the fish & chips for my first return visit and it was delicious. I'm delighted that my experience was as enjoyable as my memories from years gone by. I'll be back in the coming weeks to try my other favorites. I've taken many people there over the years and we never had anything less than a fantastic experience. I highly recommend giving them a try.

They were delicious ? and loved the flaky crust. It was quite authentic to have them served on newspaper. We also enjoyed the mushy peas.

If you like Guinness you will love this. If you want to like Guinness but you just can't, you will love this. If you don't like beer you will love this, and if you like beer you will love this. This is one of two places in LA that has this beer you owe it to yourself to try it.

This salad bowl was delicious! I'm so happy that the restaurant now has a healthy vegan option! There was no cheese unlike in the picture.

Fantastic breakfast! Felt VERY authentic and had an absolutely perfect BOILING hot pot of proper tea. A feat rarely achieved stateside!

They aren't kidding when they call it king-sized! Easily the biggest, tastiest battered fish i've had. And chips were fried to perfection.

Our first time here and it definitely did not disappoint! We had the Fish and Chips, the Shepherd's Pie, proper English tea and for dessert the Scone with clotted cream, all were delicious! Our server, Caroline, was fabulous as well. I would highly recommend visiting, the prices are great and the portions are huge. We will be back the next time we visit the Los Angeles area.

Watched the England v Ireland Six Nations match. The English Breakfast was perfect, not to be outdone by the fantastic Guinness. Service was top notch. This is my go-to for all things English. I WILL be back, many times to come. Cheers

I have been here a few times. We have always gotten the fish and chips since they are so very good! I do want to try other things, maybe next time we will each get different items and share! I love the atmosphere and always going to the shop after dinner!

My mom & I celebrated my cousin & her husbands marriage/honeymoon. We ordered the Fish & Chips, Shepherd's Pie, Cornish Pastie, sausage roll and for desert we had the Rhubarb Crumb with Champaign. The food was delicious as always and the service was great!
